The Stadium is located in Aino Meyna, Kandahar, Afghanistan. Its establishment was done in 2012 and about 44 acres of land was donated by Mahmood Karzai (businessman and Politician) to the Afghanistan Cricket Board. In August 2014, the Indian government granted $1 million for this project under their scheme for small development projects. The construction of the Stadium was completed in 2007. The Stadium has a seating capacity of about 14,000 spectators.

It is located in District 8, Kabul city, Afghanistan. The stadium establishment was established in 2011 and was ready to host matches in 2012.
