Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shan Masood are New Captains of Pakistan for white ball and red ball respectively. Decision was made by PCB as Babar Azam resigned from captaincy across all format after unsuccessful World Cup journey.
Pakistan only won 4 out of 9 matches in World Cup and finished at 5th spot on points table. Shaheen Shah Afridi is most successful captain of PSL Pakistan Super League as Lahore Qalandars won back to back 2 trophies in 2022 and 2023. Shan Masood has also great experience in Test as he captained County Club.
