ICC International Cricket Council has suspended Sri Lanka Cricket Board due to political interference in board. Recently Sri Lankan government has suspended due to bad performance and now ICC. Sri Lanka Cricket Team downfall started after 2017 champions trophy as star players took retirement and whole team was new and without any experience. They are also facing injury issues to their major players which costed them in World Cup.

Sri Lank Team is champion of ICC ODI World Cup 1996 and played best cricket later about almost 20 years. They played 2009 T20 World Cup Final and 2011 ODI World Cup final unluckily they lost both. Later on, they won 2014 T20 World beating India in final.
Hopefully, we will see again Sri Lanka Cricket team playing ICC events and bilateral series.
